Big Garden birdwatch
On Friday 26th January, Queensway’s Science Club went to a local park (Browning Road Park) to take part in the RSPB’S ‘Big Garden Birdwatch’. On the walk we found house sparrows, multiple greenfinches, robins, a couple of magpies and a plethora of wood pigeons. A rare encounter was goldfinches, blue tits and surprisingly only a few of the thought-to-be common blackbirds. We found the trip interesting and loved exploring the local wildlife!
