All the children, from Nursery to Year 6, had a fantastic time on French Day on 12th July. Foundation Stage had a singing assembly where we learnt the song Frere Jacques. KS1 played outdoor French games of Petenque (like boules) and Escargot (a version of hopscotch). KS2 had a French feast, trying different foods, role playing ordering in a café, and discussing what food they liked and disliked. It was a really lovely celebration of French culture and language.
