On Wednesday 14^th June, Year 3 took part in Banbury in Bloom in People’s Park. This competition is hosted by Banbury Town Council every year and the theme for the flower bed and centrepiece this year was the King’s Coronation. Prior to the event, the children used their imagination to create a globe to reflect the King’s contribution towards conservation work. On the day, the children had great fun planting the flower bed to create a globe shape using different types of flowers and worked hard, despite the heat. We were proud to receive Highly Commended certificates for Best Planted Bed and Best Centrepiece. If you have chance, please visit People’s Park and look for our flower bed.
