We are so pleased to say that our Early Years team have been awarded the Healthy Smiles accreditation following the work that Reception and Nursery have done on oral health and dental hygiene. The children have taken part in lots of activities linked to this including: sorting tooth friendly foods, demonstrating good handwashing skills, learning about the dentist and eating a range of healthy foods and snacks. A particular favourite activity was a dentist role play. Children dressed up and pretended to be dentists, setting up their dentist practise and looking after their patients! We want to thank parents for supporting our work on oral health and dental hygiene at home too. We have loved seeing the photos on Evidence Me of tooth brushing routines and dentist visits.
